The International Center for Mediterranean Gastronomy welcomes the honorary collaboration with the distinguished Messinian artist-ceramicist Mr. Elias Christopoulos.

Elias Christopoulos was born in Kalamata in 1976. He has attended ceramics classes with Iro-Myrto Maganaris and Saimon Hill and is a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece and the International Academy of Ceramics (IAC). He is a founding member of the Trace Tiles Group, which was founded in 2011.

He has taught ceramics in the art workshops of DEPA Patras, Kalamata and Kyparissia, since 2006 at the "Alkyoni" Association with children with special needs in Nafpaktos and from 2011 until today at the Art Hangout of Kalamata.

Since 1998 he participates in Panhellenic Exhibitions of Art Ceramics, and has won 3rd commendation (2001), 3rd prize (2006), 2nd prizes (2008 and 2010), 1st commendation (2012), 1st commendation (2014), 1st prize (2020) and in other exhibitions within Greece. He has participated in 15 International Competition Exhibitions (Austria, France, Denmark, Spain, Italy, Japan, Hungary, Slovenia, China) and in a group of four Greek ceramics in Paris and has held three solo exhibitions in Greece.

His works are in the private collections of the Municipality of Maroussi, Museum of Ceramics Basil, Anetopoulos, Volos, 3rd International Triennial of Silicate Arts, Kecskemét, Hungary and 2nd International Ceramic Triennial UNICUM 2012, Maribor, Slovenia, Museum of Mino, Japan, Museum of Ceramics, Keramina .
